Power 4 microprocessor: huge advances delivered on schedule

IBM has transformed the economics of Unix servers with
the launch of the IBM eServer p690 – code-named
Regatta. At half the price of the nearest equivalent
competitor, the p690 is the most efficient Unix server for
consolidating smaller servers with diverse workloads,
and for running large single-system applications.
