IBM impressed on consultants and systems integrators (CSIs) its clear vision of wireless pervasive business and its resources as a partner at the latest of its ongoing series of seminars.

IBM uses ‘pervasive’ to describe a technology that will support wired and wireless devices at the same time. The challenge, it told seminar delegates on both sides of the Atlantic, will lie in making e-business applications work on all devices. IBM sees itself as a provider of the pervasive infrastructure – wireless software, development tools, embedded software and general hardware – and as a builder of partnerships to produce end-to-end solutions.
