Handelsbanken of Sweden is the largest bank in the Nordic countries. It competes in a market where 60% of people carry a mobile phone and where the penetration of mobile information devices is the highest in the world.
Handelsbanken needed to get closer to its customers for new levels of customer information and interaction. An interactive service would give customers up-to-the-minute information while also extending its brand reach.
