France’s Carrefour is the world’s number two supermarket/ hypermarket business, with more than 2 billion shoppers a year using over 9,000 stores in 27 countries.
Carrefour’s IT department found it had no way to support the growing number of mobile employees and executives who wanted to connect to Lotus Notes from personal digital assistants (PDAs) when out of the office.
